According to the report, the EPFO will help its account holder to buy his home. The organization has also prepared a draft for this scheme. This scheme can be started before the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
According to the report, the proposal for the scheme of EPFO housing scheme will be placed in the Central Board of Trustees (CBT) meeting in December. Work on the scheme of giving home to the members of the EPFO will be started as soon as the Board meets the green signal. It is being said that before the Lok Sabha elections, the EPFO will start a scheme to make available house by making projects for its members.

Based on the conversation with a member of the EPFO, the report said that the organization will work together with the government for this plan. Talks with all ministries regarding this plan. Everyone has the desire that the members of the EPFO can be given their house at least prices.
Under this scheme, the National Housing Association will be formed first. The Association will acquire the lands in all the states of the country. A housing project will be created on the acquired land. The EPFO would have a chance that land acquisition would be done at least prices so that the cost of construction of houses would be less and the prices would be kept as low as possible. Later, local builder companies will be given contracts for the construction of a housing project.

There are also some conditions
EPFO In this proposed plan, some conditions are also fixed for building. According to the plan, the same members of the EPFO will be able to take benefit of this scheme, who have no house. The EPFO member will apply to the EPFO Commissioner of his area to take advantage. They have to write in the application for which state they should be building.
The EPFO member can also take a loan for his home. For the remaining amount, some select banks can also get it. The building will be found in the state, where the member works. After scrutiny of the EPFO commissioner, applications and documents, the certificate will be given. On this basis, his name will be registered for building. EPFO member's EPF account should be at least 3 years old. For the purpose of purchasing a home, a PF account will be allowed to withdraw 90% of the amount. The special thing is that if the amount is taken from the loan, its EMI can also be paid from the PF account
